Due to the current structure in which both the front and back sides of the home plate are judged for a strike, the rear judgment surface is moved to the catcher side to compensate for the falling breaking ball, and the left and right strike zones are reduced by half (front 64.87cm ➯ 57.64cm / Back 72.1cm ➯ 64.86cm) The left and right widths were reduced, and the rear judging surface was wider than the front judging surface by about one ball, reflecting direct pitches that are full of body and outer pitches in the zone.
