Kwon Hyeok-gyu (22, Busan I-Park), during winter training in Chiang Mai, Thailand, seemed to have lost weight. An official from the Busan club hinted, “He seems to have become more nimble than when I saw him in Busan earlier this year.” Kwon Hyuk-gyu said, 먹튀검증 “This is the first overseas training camp in three years since 2020. Coming to a warm country makes my body feel light. It’s also mentally comfortable. I’ve been doing a lot of physical training in Korea. I did physical training in the beginning (in Thailand). Kwon Hyuk-gyu returned from military service (Gimcheon managing director) at the end of the 2022 season. He completed his ‘duty of military service’ at an early age. Kwon Hyuk-kyu is not only a hot player on the team. He is currently the most ‘hot’ soccer player in Korea. He is regarded as a next-generation defensive midfielder as the core of the national team by age. He recently received a love call from ‘Scotland’s premier’ Celtic.
He said, “The first time I heard the transfer rumor was when I was a sergeant while managing director Kim Cheon. The agent said that an offer came from a good club. I didn’t know which team it was, but I thought that I could challenge a better club, the Europe I wanted. I heard Celtic. I thought, ‘Oh, I can become famous and grow further by participating in the European Champions League (UCL).’ I had a strong desire to challenge myself,” he said. He continued, “I want to challenge when a love call comes (from Europe). When I went to the military, our team was demoted. I don’t know what will happen, but (if I stay on the team) I will do my best to promote Busan.”
Kwon Hyuk-gyu predicted a hotter year than anyone else in 2023. As well as promoting Busan, personally, I also aim for the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023. He said, “I think Busan is a prestigious club in the K-League. Last year, it suffered a lot of humiliation. Fans must have been very disappointed. I hope people can enjoy it. The goal is to be able to praise us as ‘a team that I’Park has a color’ while looking at us.”
He said, “People around me say, ‘I will do it roughly because I have solved the military problem.’ I don’t have that mindset at all. Wearing the Taegeuk mark in itself is valuable. It’s an idea. After Ki Sung-yong and Jung Woo-young, you are saying that there is no defensive midfielder. He will work hard to fill that part,” he said.
